My family went tonight to the restaurant for the first time and we were not disappointed!! The establishment was clean and comfortably cool inside as they have air conditioning. The view with the big picture windows was beautiful and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The portions were a great size and delicious! I highly recommend their fettuccine Alfredo and clams, fries! My daughter had the New York style cheesecake and it was amazing also. If you are in the area please make sure to stop by it is a hidden gem!!

I love the Border I've recommended it to many people. People in particular were chefs at other restaurants that I visited, they weren't disappointed you never know who's coming into the restaurant but I know that will keep coming back into the restaurant it's the most beautiful place you can sit and eat the staff is unreal the food was perfect. I can say all of this because I've been there and back, took my whole family there. It's a place called brag about, it's just simply my favorite place to be. My name is Debbie Martin oh and they recognize you as soon as you come in. Thank you keep up the good work

Went here today. Sort of off the beaten path but was a fine choice. Got the fisherman's platter and I left full and needed a nap. It was good. Their slaw was excellent too. If you're in the hood, stop by. The folks there were fun to chat with as well.

The Border Diner & Grill Hansport Decided to give this place a try since we were just down the road at the Sunflower Maze. I was excited to see potato skins on the menu, but then read the description. They were the potato boat style. It's a small spot, lots of parking out back and there is a ramp for wheelchairs on the side. Also I noticed one step to get in, is sort of steep. We must have just missed the crowd as it wasnt busy. But lots of tables still had dirty dishes sitting there. We were able to find a clean, yet sticky table. Just one waitress was working. She was very friendly. She was quick with getting our orders in and the food came out fresh and hot. I went with the Philly Cheesesteak - sliced roast beef sauteed with red and green peppers, onions and mushrooms, topped with melted mozzarella cheese on a toasted garlic ciabatta bun. I opted no mushrooms without any issue. The ciabatta was soft and lots of cheese and the fries obviously frozen but everything was really good. My friend had the chicken ceasar wrap - Crispy chicken tenders in a tortilla wrap with lettuce, bacon bits, parmesan cheese and Caesar dressing. Both meals came with coleslaw as well. We tried it but neither of us finished it. Overall, service was good, food was good.

We stopped here for lunch, thought we'd support this Beautiful diner, our fish and chips, poutine and stuffed baked potatoes were absolutely delicious, the kind friendly staff were lovely to talk to. Way better than Halls Harbour which was very expensive and not very good! Thank you, if we ever come back your way. We will definitely stop in Cheers from Kamloops BC!
